Classframe privacy policy

Classframe is being designed to keep classroom information under the educator’s control.

Last updated: 18 September 2026The French version is authoritative if a translated version differs.
01

Information stored locally

The application stores classroom records on the user’s device. Depending on use, those records may include student names, groups, attendance, activities, schedules, curricula, and assessment information.

The application is designed so that these records are not sent to EDA. EDA has no access to them, and the current planned operation does not require an online account.

02

Responsibility for classroom records

The educator, or the school where applicable, decides what records are entered and why, and remains responsible for that processing, including informing students and their parents or guardians where required. Because these records may concern minors, only information needed for teaching and school administration should be entered.

03

Backups and transfers

A backup created by the educator may contain classroom records. The educator chooses where to save or transfer it and is responsible for using trusted devices, approved channels, encryption where appropriate, and an appropriate retention period.

04

Security and deletion

Users should protect their device and remove records when they are no longer needed under their school or applicable policy. Deleting application data or a backup removes the copy controlled by that user, subject to the device or backup service’s own behaviour.

05

Third-party services and contact

The current design does not include advertising or behavioural analytics. This policy will be updated before release if third-party data processing is introduced. Questions may be sent to contact@eda.ma.
